Abstract:Abstract: [Purpose] To investigate the clinical effect of calcaneal spur clearance and plantar fasciolysis under lateral double approach in the treatment of calcaneodynia. [Method] The clinical data of 58 patients who were treated with calcaneodynia in the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Southwest Medical University from January 2017 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the result of communication. 29 patients were treated with calcaneal spur debridement and metatarsal fascia release under ankle arthroscopy through lateral double approach, and 29 patients received conservative treatment. The follow-up and imaging data of the two groups were compared. [Results] All 58 patients were followed up for a period of 1 year, and no adverse events occurred. Postoperative X-ray images of 29 patients in the operation group showed that the calcaneal spur disappeared. The VAS scores of the operation group and the conservative group were improved compared with those before treatment at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after treatment, and the scores showed a trend of improvement, with significant differences (P<0.05); The VAS scores of the operation group in June and December were lower than those of the conservative group, with significant difference (P<0.05). After 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of treatment, the AOFAS score and Maryland score of the surgery group were higher than those of the conservative group, with significant differences(P<0.05). [Conclusion] Calcaneal spur clearing and metatarsal fascia release under arthroscopy for calcaneal pain, It has the advantages of lasting curative effect and not easy to relapse. It has good curative effect in preventing the recurrence of calcaneodynia and high clinical satisfaction rate.
