In 2025, under the leadership of Editor in Chief Sun Lei, we adhere to the concept of "academic establishment, innovative strengthening, service-oriented development, and standardized management", and work together with authors, editors, and editorial colleagues to successfully complete the annual target tasks. This journal continues to be honored with the titles of CSCD (China Science Citation Database) indexed journal and China Science and Technology Core Journal, once again demonstrating its pivotal position in the domestic academic community.

In 2025, as the year of academic journal standardization, we revised and improved the rules and regulations of the editorial department, forming a full process system of "people, finance, and materials". In 2025, online publishing, open access and other new media columns will be widely praised, and the website and WeChat official account will continue to increase in the number of visitors; Jointly hold two "review and academic seminars" with Zhengzhou Orthopedic Hospital and Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital to promote academic exchanges through an "online+offline" model; Sun Lei, the editor in chief, led the completion of two special topic submissions, which received widespread praise from readers for their clinical guidance and practicality.

As of the end of 2025, the download volume of "Orthopedic Journal of China" on China National Knowledge Infrastructure has reached 3.2618 million times, with a total citation frequency of 169200 times and a composite impact factor of 1.516. All indicators remain at the forefront of the domestic orthopedic field, and academic influence is increasing day by day, deeply trusted and supported by readers (authors). The achievement of these results cannot be separated from the strong support and encouragement of the authors and reviewers for this journal, which embodies the tireless efforts of the authors and reviewers, and reflects the passionate struggle and belief pursuit of orthopedic professionals. At this moment, we are grateful for everyone's companionship along the way, which is also the driving force behind our continuous efforts to run our magazine well!
